Welcome to the Women Poets’ Network, and thank you for your support. This directory of members is intended as a resource for you to connect with other women poets across the UK. It has been created by the Rebecca Swift Foundation in response to consultation with women poets, and the first pilot stage of its development has been funded by Arts Council England.
In order to keep this a friendly and useful place, we ask all Women Poets’ Network members to adhere to the following guidelines:
Be respectful online. Show courtesy and respect to everyone in the WPN community and in your interactions with our admin team. WPN members come from a variety of backgrounds and will have varying levels of experience. This space is focused on facilitating creative and professional connections. Offensive content, links, or messages to other members will result in your profile being suspended.
Protect yours and others’ privacy. This directory is viewable only by members. We strongly advise you to protect yourself by never posting information about yourself and your physical location that you haven’t already decided to make publically accessible through social media platforms, etc. Never reveal any confidential or personally-identifiable information in your profile, such as your password, address, phone number or payment card details. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we keep your personal data secure.
Respect copyright. WPN members may share links to their own poems on their profiles. Please do not plagiarize other poets’ work.
If you break any of these guidelines, intentionally or accidentally, moderators will suspend your profile. RSF reserves the right to manage and moderate the community as we see fit for the benefit of the community, and the right to remove members from the community not adhering to these guidelines. We also reserve the right to amend these guidelines without prior notice.
