The Women Poets’ Network is open to UK-based women poets aged 18+.
We consider a woman poet to be an individual for whom woman is a meaningful identifier or lived experience. The Rebecca Swift Foundation is proud to be trans-inclusive.
Community Guidelines
We ask all Women Poets’ Network members to adhere to the following guidelines:
Be respectful online. Show courtesy and respect to everyone in the WPN community and in your interactions with our admin team. WPN members come from a variety of backgrounds and will have varying levels of experience. This space is focused on facilitating creative and professional connections. Offensive content, links, or messages to other members will result in your profile being suspended.
Protect yours and others’ privacy. The Women Poets’ Directory is currently viewable only by members. We strongly advise you to protect yourself by never posting information about yourself and your physical location that you haven’t already decided to make publicly accessible through social media platforms, etc. Never reveal any confidential or personally-identifiable information in your profile, such as your password, address, phone number or payment card details.
Respect copyright. WPN members may share links to their own poems on their profiles. Please do not plagiarise other poets’ work.

During this period you will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions and rules. If you do not terminate the membership by the date given to you in the notice then the price of your membership will be increased in accordance with the notice.

Rebecca Swift Foundation or the Member may terminate the membership and agreement evidenced by these Terms and Conditions with or without cause at any time by providing written notice to the non-terminating party.
We can suspend or terminate your membership at any time and for any reason (acting reasonably of course), including for the following reasons:
- failure to pay the agreed membership fee
- failure to comply with these terms and conditions
- if you have made statements to us which are incorrect or have failed to disclose facts of circumstances required to be disclosed under these terms and conditions
If we do decide to permanently terminate your membership and account you must not apply for a new account as unfortunately you will no longer be welcome in the Women Poets’ Network.
